The Art Of Taking Nude Photos Like A Pro

January 4th, 2010 Mark Walters No comments

If you’re like most photographers, there have been times you wondered how exactly to take nude photos which were artistic and beautiful instead of sleazy or dirty. Whenever you say you’d like to do something like that, other people jump straight to the wrong conclusion but, historically, the nude has always been one of the purest and most beautiful of artistic expressions. The great masters painted them, sculpted them, and - yes - photographed them.

The nude is, in a very real sense, a study in the beauty of humanity. A single individual can represent the whole of humanity - and clothing, or indeed any sort of decoration or scenery, merely detracts from the focus of the image.

Yet is only a small minority that also take such a view point, and they are predominantly found only in photography and art circles, with the cultural sensitivity of the country as a whole making it difficult for bold and dynamic photographers to achieve this particular artistic goal. For the majority, the subject of how to best take nude photos will always invoke thoughts of dirtiness, rather than thoughts of beauty.

You shouldn’t let the uneducated majority prevent you from reaching your potential as a photographer though. Without raising eyebrows or inspiring whispers, you can learn to take nude photos artfully and tastefully from a range of books that are available on the subject…and get real, professional advice from people who know the field and can tell you the techniques and secrets that bring your work from amateur to professional status.

It would take you months, even years, to find out this type of information on your own. Literally everything from selecting the right model, to getting the lighting right, to computer editing, is covered in the best books of this type. By taking advice directly from professionals, you can quickly go from dreaming about it to doing it… and produce real, solid images for your portfolio almost immediately.

No Longer Do You Have To Choose Between The Great Pictures Of A Slr 35 Mm Camera And Digital Shots.

December 31st, 2009 Russell Masina No comments

No longer are family photographers forced to choose between the convenience of a digital camera and the better quality of 35 mm SLR cameras. Nikon has solved this problem with the Nikon D5000 camera.

For the price, this is a great quality digital camera which offers the best of both worlds. It is capable of taking four frames per second and gives 12. 3 megapixel photographs. In addition, the camera can be used in video mode to record short video clips.

Even though small in size, there are nineteen different mode of auto-exposure in this powerful digital camera. The camera will get great shots in lighting conditions from candle light to full sun.

In addition, the camera can also have an optional GPS unit added to stamp each photo with the time, longitude and latitude of each shot. There will not be any guess work as to where the shots were taken. This makes it an excellent choice for recording photographs for the courtroom.

After taking the shots, the camera allows for immediate editing or touch up without ever downloading onto your computer. Of course, there is also the option to discard the photo without having to pay for a print.

The camera’s rechargeable battery will hold its charge for over five hundred shots without recharging. The long battery life is perfect for long days on vacation trips where you do not want to miss even one photo opportunity. Take ever opportunity and then you will be able to save your best shots to share with your family.

You photos are stored on either SD or SDHC memory cards. The SDHC cards offer even more memory than the SD cards.

As with most other 35 mm cameras, you are able to interchange lenses and all three major lens companies make lenses that will work with all Nikon DSLR cameras. There is also a built in flash for those shots where a little more light is needed.

When you want to review the shots from the day, choose to view them as a slide show or through thumbnails which allow for a quick review of many shots from the day.

Perhaps the best news about this digital SLR camera is the price. Nikon offers this camera at about six hundred and fifty dollars. This is only slightly more than you would pay for a higher end entry level SLR in a film camera and not that much more than an entry level digital camera.

Don’t spend more than you have to on the Nikon D5000, make sure you check out the instant savings and great customers reviews on the Nikon D5000.

November 20th, 2009 Hector Grace No comments

Photography is something that more and more these days is becoming more of a hobby or at least pass time for many of us and for this reason getting help improving your photography skills is something that is more popular than ever now. There are now many photography courses on and off-line available to us all.

The problem is, most of us have very busy lives, and the needs of work, family and friends sometimes mean it’s hard to find the time to commit to a daylong digital photography course.

So why not bring the digital photography course into your own home and invest in an internet course instead?

Why Take An Online Digital Photography Course?

I can think of a number of benefits to the online approach to teaching yourself proper photography techniques. However the one that most comes to mind is freedom as this way you can easily pick up your books whenever you feel like it and start learning.

These courses can be totally Internet based, in PDF form and or in video format. Personally I love the courses that provide video as well as they make learning better photography techniques all the easier. You can expect to find in depth information in the good courses that should teach you everything you need to know.

Some courses assign each student a personal tutor who can advise on your progress and suggest ways to improve your photographic techniques. You can expect to pay a few hundred dollars for a course such as this, but an online digital photography course is usually very flexible.

With online digital photography guides and courses you don’t have the typical problem that you have with off-line courses where you must in role at the beginning of the season since when dealing with an online course you can start learning the second you get access to materials, you don’t depend on anyone.

The Internet is perfect for photography in that it is a great medium for sharing your photography with friends and indeed the world. Not to mention the fact it is very handy for showing your progress to the author of your course or indeed your tutor for his or her assessment.

Help is also available if you run into problems. Live chat or email responses can both help you to reach your goal of becoming a better photographer.

So if you think you can’t fit a course into your busy everyday life, think again, just switch your computer on. You won’t regret it!
