The Thrills of a Trip to Spain
If only I didn’t have to work, I’d travel the world as often as I possibly could. I want to see every country in the world, though I know that’s not reasonable. Nonetheless, I go as much as I’m able to and I have another trip planned later for this year. Traveling is one of my favorite things in life.
It’s a great thing to visit different cultures to see how they live. It really opens your mind to the way things work around the world. Of all the places I’ve visited, there’s one country that holds a special place in my heart.
I went to Spain for the second time just last year, and I’ll never forget this memorable trip. Spain stands out to me, above and beyond everywhere else I’ve ever been.
Nestled in the southern part of Europe below France, Spain is one of the more unique European countries. The scenery is beautiful, but the way they live is what I find most intriguing.
If you’re a fan of beaches, you’ll appreciate the fact that there’s water bordering two sides of the country. On the East is the Mediterranean Sea, with the Southern coast of the country separated by a body of water between Spain and Africa.
The South of the country is a great resort district, with beaches, nightlife, and some great restaurants. Malaga and Marbella are two destinations worth visiting, as is Mijas, a picturesque coastal town in the South.
The resorts were a lot of fun, but I had the best time of all during the few days that I spent in Madrid. This was the most traditional of the cities I visited, and I mean that in the best of ways.
The food was the most authentic that I had in Spain, and I sampled some delicious tapas, sangria, and more. There was some great sightseeing in Madrid as well.
Writing about this country makes me wish I was there right now. Hopefully in due time, I’ll be able to return. Until then, perhaps you could enjoy everything that I did by planning a trip yourself.
